This website sets no cookies, embeds no third-party services and builds no profiles. It counts page views, without cookies. Here is what data it does process.

02 Hosting
The website runs at Sliplane GmbH on a server in Germany. To deliver it, Sliplane processes your IP address with every request, along with what your browser sends: the page requested, the referrer, the browser and the operating system. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Sliplane processes this data on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR); it does not leave the EU.
03 Traffic measurement
I count page views with analytics software that I run myself on the same server as the website; the data never leaves it. For each page view it stores the page and its title, the referrer, the browser, operating system, device type, screen size and browser language, and the country, region and city, derived from your IP address using a local database. So that several page views count as one visitor, the software combines your IP address, user agent, a secret key and the current month into an identifier; this links your page views within a calendar month to each other. The IP address and user agent themselves are not stored. The data is deleted automatically after 12 months. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in these statistics (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). As the software sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, no consent is required under Section 25 TDDDG.
04 Settings in your browser
The website stores the language you chose and, if you picked one, the colour scheme in your browser's localStorage. Both stay on your device and are never transmitted.
05 Email
If you write to me, I use your address and your message only to reply (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR), and delete them once the matter is settled and no retention obligation applies.
06 Your rights
You have the following rights:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
You can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
An informal email is enough. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Data Protection Commissioner of Lower Saxony.
